Braga Travel Guide earns commission when readers book through links on this site. This page sets out which links pay, which carry no payment at all, and what the arrangement never changes.
Where The Commission Comes From
Most links out from this site earn it money. When a reader books a tour or experience, a stay at a hotel, hostel or apartment, car hire, an airport transfer, a bus or train ticket, luggage storage, an eSIM data plan, a flight or an audio tour through one of these links, the site receives a commission from the partner at no extra cost to the reader. The free walks work differently: they are listed with GuruWalk, which pays the site a fee when someone books a place on a pay-what-you-want walk. Other booking platforms are described generically rather than named throughout this site's tour coverage.
What Pays Us Nothing
Plenty of what this site points to carries no payment at all. The Sé de Braga, Bom Jesus do Monte, the Museu de Arqueologia D. Diogo de Sousa and Biscainhos sell their own tickets, and links to them go straight to their own pages with nothing attached. The same goes for the municipal tourist tax and TUB bus fares: no partner, no cut. Free walking tours are different. They cost nothing to join, and a booking made through a GuruWalk link can still earn the site a commission.
What Commission Never Buys
No tour operator can pay for a place in a comparison or a higher spot in a list. What gets included, and in what order, is an editorial call made on the merits of the product: the route, the duration, the from-price and the rating the operator's own listing publishes. Those ratings and review counts are the listings' figures, shown only where they exist, never invented or adjusted here. And the price is the price: booking through a link costs the reader the same as going direct, with the commission taken from the platform's side.
